Teen charged with murder for Prairie View A&M University student's death

WALLER COUNTY, Texas – Deputies have arrested and charged a 19-year-old with the murder of a 20-year-old Prairie View A&M University student.

Ayinde Williams, 19, was arrested Friday night after Tristan Houston's body was found at Clear Creek Road north of Magnolia Road in a wooded area.

Williams's bond was set at $150,000.

Deputies said Willaims and Houston were students at Prairie View A&M University and knew each other through school.

Houston went missing Wednesday evening. 

Investigators have not released how Houston was killed. 

They also said several people were being interviewed.

In a Facebook post, the Waller County Sheriff's Office said:

"Waller County Sheriff's Office, Prairie View A & M University Police and Texas Rangers have cleared scene on Clear Creek, such a tragic end to a young life. There is 1 suspect in custody at this time and several being interviewed. No names are being released at this time, while the investigation continues. Keep family in your thoughts and prayers."
