Robinson, 46, was arrested in June last year after the Houston Police Department's Vice Division and FBI conducted an undercover sting.

"The facts showed that Scott Robinson forced (the teenager) into the depths of the illegal sex industry," said JoAnne Musick, chief of the Harris County District's Attorney's Sex Crimes Division. “His depravity earned him decades in state prison.”

The teen told authorities that when Robinson first learned she was having sex with boys, he told her that if she was going to act like a prostitute, she might as well be one, investigators said.

The teenager said that Robinson forced her to knock on the doors of tractor-trailer rigs parked at truck stops and offer sex for money.

She said she had several customers a night and that Robinson confiscated all the money she made.

This case began thanks to an anonymous tip to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The tip included a link to an escort advertisement posted on backpage.com, according to court records.

Robinson was sentenced on Monday.
