Conroe resident found shot to death in front of home

CONROE, Texas – A man was found shot to death last week in front of his home in Conroe, police said.

Police said they received a call at 12:41 p.m. Feb. 2. from residents who said a man’s body was lying in front of a home in the 800 block of College Street.

Police found James Collard, 54, dead from a gunshot wound.

Police said they have several leads but have not made any arrests.
