HOUSTON – A group of refinery workers are giving the gift of safety to a man who watches out for them every day.
For the past few months, Adrian, a Valero security guard, has ridden a bike to work, rain or shine.
But Thursday night, he'll be going home with a different set of wheels: a brand new SUV.
It's all thanks to his co-workers.
"I know you've been praying for a blessing -- here it is."
"I appreciate it! Thanks, man. Jeeze!"
The idea for the gift started when Adrian started riding his bike to work because his car stopped running.
So, the whole Valero "Coker Unit" chipped in and bought him an SUV for Christmas.
