2 men wanted for shooting at sports bar security guard, police say

HOUSTON – Houston police said they are searching for two men wanted in connection with a shooting at a parking lot in the 11600 block of the Southwest Freeway on Aug. 7 around 8 a.m.

One of the men got in an argument with a security guard at a sports bar, police said.

The men left the scene together, but returned in a 2006 tan Chevrolet Equinox, according to a release from police.

Upon their return, one of the men started shooting at the security guard, police said.

There were no injuries reported and both men left the scene in an unknown direction.

The first man is described as Hispanic, approximately 18-29 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, 130 to 150 pounds, wearing a white shirt, tan pants and brown shoes. He also had a pistol.

The second person is described as Hispanic, approximately 20-30 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, 180 to 200 pounds, wearing a gray shirt, blue jean shorts and black shoes.

Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the men in this case.
