HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A 17-year-old was arrested Monday in the death of a young man at a Valero Corner Store at 11510 Boudreaux Drive on July 7.
Officials were called to the scene to find a young black man, identified as Auron Howard, shot in the head in the parking lot. He was flown to Hermann Memorial, where he underwent surgery, but died from his injuries the next day.

Officials arrested Samuel Craig Monday and charged him with murder in the death of Howard.
