Man crushed to death by plastic rolls in N Houston work accident
HOUSTON – A worker died after being trapped by large rolls of plastic in north Houston on Tuesday, according to the Ponderosa Fire Department.
The man, 66, went missing at work, and when co-workers went to look for him, they called 911, according to authorities.
Authorities believe the plastic rolls fell over or fell off a forklift. The rolls weighed about 1,000 pounds.
EMS declared the man dead at the scene after trying CPR.
OSHA is now investigating the incident.
