Amazon attempting to build new facility in northwest Houston

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Amazon has plans to build a warehouse in northwest Houston, according to court documents.

The company is looking at a space in Pinto Business Park.

The $136 million facility is estimated to bring hundreds of jobs to the Houston area.

Amazon filed a request with the Harris County Commissioners Court for a public hearing on June 28.

The hearing will decide whether or not to lower taxes for construction of the project.
