Preschool teacher arrested for biting child, authorities say

MELBOURNE VILLAGE, Fla. – Carla Howard is facing child abuse charges after Melbourne Beach police said she bit a little boy at the preschool where she works last week.

Police reported that she bit the boy's right arm on two different occasions, as well as forced him to slap himself on the face several times.

All incidences occurred at As We Grow preschool in Brevard County.
