Jeep slams into back of big rig, ends up underneath
HOUSTON – A woman had to be pulled out of her Jeep Wrangler after it ended up underneath an 18-wheeler in southwest Houston Wednesday.
It happened in the 10000 block of Westheimer Road. Officials said the Jeep hit the back of the semi so hard that it ended up underneath it. Investigators believe the driver was speeding.
The woman was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.
Though the 18-wheeler was damaged, the driver was not hurt.
