HOUSTON – PayPal has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit that accused the company of improperly handling disputed transactions by putting holds on accounts and suspending and closing others.
The company is not admitting that it did anything wrong; but it has agreed to pay customers who had a PayPal account anytime between April 19, 2006 and November 5, 2015.
No pay-out amount has been disclosed; and the court still has to approve the deal, but you can submit your information now to make sure you are included.
