CLEVELAND, Texas – A 19-year-old man was arrested Thursday after police say they found him in a parked car with a 14-year-old female in the early morning hours.
According to the Cleveland Police Department, an officer approached a vehicle in Old City Park because it was there after hours.

When the officer walked up to the vehicle he saw the man, later identified as Rodrigo Vargas, with the 14-year-old girl and both of them were partially undressed.
Police said both were questioned and the officer learned the two met on social media before Vargas drove to the girl's house, picked her up and went to the park, at which time they allegedly had intercourse.
After the officer learned of the girl's age, he arrested Vargas for sexual assault of a child.
He is free on $10,000 bond.
