HOUSTON – What would it take to convince someone to name their baby Quinoa?

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is offering a $10,000 gift card to parents willing to name their baby after the high-protein grain beloved by health food fanatics. The contest is in celebration of new quinoa dishes at the restaurant.

When the contest ends on Labor Day, the restaurant will choose one winner. That means if more than one couple takes the bait, there's a chance they could be stuck with a baby named Quinoa and no gift card. Parents must provide a copy of a birth certificate, middle names and nicknames don't count.

For those couples unwilling to name their newborn after a grain or those who aren't due until after Labor Day, the restaurant is also offering a $10 coupon to customers who change their name to Quinoa on Twitter.
