Reward offered in Houston-area pharmacy burglaries

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects who deputies say burglarized two Houston-area pharmacies.

At about 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 21, Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the MedX Pharmacy and Compounding in the 8700 block of Highway 6 South in the Houston area. The suspects shattered the lower portion of the front door of the store to get inside.

Deputies said the store was also burglarized earlier in the month of September.

Then shortly after 1 a.m. on Sept. 22, deputies said they responded to another burglary of a building at the Metscripts Pharmacy in the 7700 block of Highway 99 South in the Houston area.

The first suspect is described as a black man with a medium build, wearing a black shirt, a black Rockets cap with a red bill, dark camouflage shorts and white shoes. The suspect had a white cloth wrapped around his face.

The second suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, white gloves and dark-colored pants. He had a thin build and was carrying a sledge hammer, which was used to smash the glass front door.

A third suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, black-and-red gloves and black-and-red shoes. He had a thin build and was carrying a white plastic trash can.

A fourth suspect was added to the list of suspects who broke into the Metscripts Pharmacy. He is described as heavy-set and was wearing a dark-colored shirt, brown hat with red trim, dark pants and dark shoes. He was wearing a white cloth wrapped around his head.

Surveillance video was released of outside at the Highway 6 case, as well as inside the Highway 99 case.

The suspects were driving a Ford Super Duty pickup (1999-2007), most likely a Ford F-250 or F-350 and red in color.
