Vehicles, trailers found at Screwston Kingz Paint and Body Shop

BAYTOWN, Texas – Baytown Police say they found about $50,000 of stolen vehicles and trailers at the Screwston Kingz Paint and Body Shop on Tuesday.

A tip lead detectives to a stolen 2011 Ford pickup parked in front of the business, located in the 2700 block of North Alexander.

"The Ford, which was stolen from a Baytown apartment complex in February of this year, displayed stolen license plates from a similar truck," said police. "Further investigation of the business uncovered the following stolen property: 2012 Polaris Ranger side by side ATV, 2008 Honda 4-wheeler, 1998 Yamaha 4-wheeler, 2008 Znen moped, 2008 utility trailer and a 2004 utility trailer."

"The business owner gave a consent to search the rest of the property in which we recovered several stolen items," said Detective Brian Parker of the Baytown Police Department. "Went in and located a number of stolen vehicles. Trailers, 4 wheelers, motor scooters, different motor vehicles. As far as trailers, were stolen anywhere from here in the City of Baytown, Chambers County, all the way into Louisiana for some of the things that were stolen."

Blas Zuniga III, 31, has been charged with possession of stolen property.

Police were also contacting the owners of the stolen items to return the vehicles and trailers. Detectives are checking to see if other items seized from the business are stolen.
