Man shot at apartment complex over possible drug deal

HOUSTON – A man was shot at a northwest Houston apartment complex over a possible drug deal, police said.

The shooting took place around 1:15 a.m. on Kempwood and Teague.

Police said two men came to the Kempwood Hollow apartment complex and one of the men pulled out a gun and shot a man in the shoulder and the arm. The gunman then ran off. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. His name was not released.
