HOUSTON – One of Crime Stoppers' top 10 "Most Wanted" bank robbers has been arrested, authorities said.
Kyle Lee Puglisi, 27, also known as "the bearded bank robber," was captured at America's Best Inn and Suites Hotel on North Freeway on Wednesday.

The arrest happened shortly after a bank robbery at the First Community Credit Union on FM 2920 and the Crime-Stoppers' "Most Wanted" press conference, police said.
Crime Stoppers, the FBI, the Houston Police Department and the Harris County Sheriff's Office all participated in the press conference and Puglisi's arrest.

They had guns and ordered employees to the back of the bank, investigators said. Two employees were held at gunpoint while they got cash out of the vault.This man robbed a bank in the 1600 block of West Bay Area Boulevard on Aug. 20, 2012. Investigators said he handed the teller a threatening note demanding cash. Detectives said the note claimed that he had a bomb and would detonate it if he didn't get money. He wore a blue workman's jumpsuit, sunglasses and an orange cowboy hat.On June 20, 2012, a man in a red Dodge pickup truck went into the drive through a bank in the 1100 block of Edgewood Drive and put a device into the drive-through tray, which he claimed was a bomb, investigators said. The man threatened to detonate it if he wasn't given cash, officials said. The driver was described as white or Hispanic with a light complexion and thin build. At the time of the robbery, he wore a wig under a blue baseball cap.This man robbed a bank in the 3500 block of South Highway 6 on June 14, 2012. Detectives said he handed a teller a note demanding cash. After he got the cash, he forced the teller to escort him out of the building, officials said. Investigators he tried to rob another bank that day, but he failed. He was described as black and 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall with a thin build. He wore a Jamaican hat and a dreadlocks wig at the time of the robbery. He also spoke with a fake accent. He left the bank in a green Ford Windstar.This man is suspected of robbing a bank in the 200 block of West Greens Road on Jan. 1, 2012. The suspect told a bank teller, in Spanish, that he wanted $3,000 and his son is sick, investigators said. He then showed the teller a weapon, officials said. The man was described as Hispanic and about 35 years old. He left the bank in a burgundy 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.These two men are wanted in a series of takeover-style robberies throughout the Houston area. The men go into a bank, wielding pistols, and one of them subdues the customers and employees while the other takes cash, investigators said. One of the men is described as black, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and about 200 pounds. The second man was described as black, 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. They wore concealing clothing and masks during both robberies.These two men held up a bank in the 11200 block of South Gessner on Jan. 9, 2012. They walked up to a teller, said they had weapons and demanded cash. They detained one employee while another employee got the money, officials said. One of the men was described as black with a medium complexion, 6 feet 1 inch tall and 170 pounds. He wore a camouflage hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a purple cap. The second man was described a black, in his late 20s, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall and 140 to 150 pounds.
