Police capt. accused of indecency with child

HOUSTON – A Jacinto City Police captain was arrested and charged with indecency with a child Wednesday, Houston police said.

Capt. Thomas Harmon "TH" DeMont, 49, exposed himself to a teenage girl, police said.

DeMont was placed on administrative leave with pay pending an internal affairs investigation. The Texas Rangers have been asked to investigate.
