HOUSTON – More than one week after a museum-goer captured a vandal defacing a 1929 Pablo Picasso masterpiece at a Houston museum, police said they want to speak to that artist.
The painting has since been restored. The vandal spray-painted the word 'conquista' on the painting.
Houston police said they know who the accused vandal is and they want to have a few words with him.
So far, no charges have been filed, but police say they are working with the Harris County District Attorney's Office in the case.
