Man accused of exposing himself at grocery store parking lot arrested

HOUSTON – One man has been taken into custody after Jersey Village police asked its area residents to remain on high alert after a man was exposing himself.

Gregory Allen Smith, 28, is accused of exposing himself to a woman at a grocery store parking lot.

The department posted its warning to Facebook Sunday.

The post said there had been two separate reports of a man in his 20s driving a white Jeep exposing himself. The incidents were reported at the Kroger on West Sam Houston Parkway North and the H-E-B on Jones Road, less than two and a half miles from each other in northwest Houston.

The department updated its post Sunday afternoon to say that one person has been taken into custody. His identity has not yet been released.
