HOUSTON – If you’re looking for the perfect way to wrap up summer, the Galveston Island Wine Festival is returning to Moody Gardens for an unforgettable Labor Day weekend celebration filled with exceptional food, world-class wines and one-of-a-kind experiences!
The festival takes place September 4-6, transforming Moody Gardens into a destination for wine lovers, food enthusiasts and anyone looking for a fun coastal getaway.
Each day offers a unique experience for guests to enjoy, kicking off Friday with the White Linen Seafood Extravaganza, celebrating fresh Gulf Coast flavors paired with outstanding wines in an elegant setting.
On Saturday, guests can enjoy Penguins & Pinot, one of the festival’s signature events that combines wine tasting with the unforgettable atmosphere of Moody Gardens’ famous Aquarium Pyramid.
The celebration concludes Sunday with the Grand Finale Wine Dinner, an elegant evening featuring expertly crafted cuisine and thoughtfully paired wines to close out the holiday weekend in style.
Beyond the featured culinary events, there will be live music at the pool, additional entertainment at Palm Beach, and a spectacular 9 p.m. drone show that lights up the night sky to cap off the Labor Day celebration.
