HOUSTON – The legacy of martial arts legend, actor and philanthropist Chuck Norris continues to inspire a new generation.
To celebrate his life and the impact of the nonprofit he co-founded, Raising Cane’s Founder and CEO Todd Graves joined Gena Norris and her children, Dakota and Danilee Norris, in Cypress, Texas, for a special event honoring Chuck Norris and officially launching Raising Cane’s 2026 National Chicken Finger Day campaign.
This year’s campaign is dedicated to celebrating Norris’ extraordinary legacy while raising funds for Kickstart Kids, the nonprofit Chuck and Gena Norris founded to help young people build confidence, character, discipline and leadership through martial arts.
During the event, Raising Cane’s announced a $1 million fundraising commitment benefiting Kickstart Kids. The celebration featured a ceremonial check presentation, remarks from Todd Graves and the Norris family, appearances by Kickstart Kids students, and a look at the lasting impact Chuck Norris made both on and off the screen.
The event also kicked off Raising Cane’s annual National Chicken Finger Day fundraising campaign.
Here’s how fans can help support Kickstart Kids:
- National Chicken Finger Day – Monday, July 27: Raising Cane’s will donate $1 from every Box Combo® sold nationwide, with a goal of raising up to $1 million for the organization.
- Now through July 29: Net proceeds from limited-edition Chuck Norris merchandise pre-ordered through RaisingCanesGear.com will benefit Kickstart Kids.
This year’s national campaign also features Gena, Dakota and Danilee Norris celebrating Chuck Norris not only as a legendary action star, but as a devoted husband, father, mentor and humanitarian whose greatest legacy lives on through the lives changed by Kickstart Kids.
