93Q’s Cowboys & Angels Concert Brings Country Stars to Houston

Annual concert benefits Camp Hope

Houston – 93Q hosts Lo and Riggs stopped by to share details of this year’s Cowboys & Angels concert. The lineup features Aaron Watson, Brothers Osborne, Ashley McBryde, Ashley Cooke and Preston Cooper. It’s happening Tuesday, July 21, at Cowboys Red River Dance Hall & Saloon at 8 p.m.

Beyond the music, Cowboys & Angels continues its tradition of supporting a local nonprofit. This year’s beneficiary is Camp Hope and the PTSD Foundation of America, organizations that provide housing, counseling and peer-to-peer support for veterans living with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Riggs said Camp Hope serves veterans dealing with the “invisible wounds” of military service by helping them rebuild their lives through housing assistance, employment resources, fitness programs and a supportive community.

One of the program’s strengths, he added, is its peer-to-peer model, where veterans who have completed the program help others beginning their recovery.

Lo noted that 93Q has partnered with several veteran-focused organizations over the years, including Honor Flight Houston, and believes local radio can help shine a spotlight on nonprofits making a difference across the Houston area.

Tickets are still available, including premium pit passes that include early entry. 93Q plans to give away tickets on-air leading up to concert day.
