WANTED: An audience ready to laugh at the Texas Outlaw Comics tonight at Houston Improv

HoustonThe Texas Outlaw Comics are back in Houston, bringing together a group of veteran performers whose careers have spanned decades of stand-up comedy, television, film, and streaming platforms.

The all-headliner lineup returns to the Houston Improv on June 17, continuing a relationship with the city that dates back to the group’s earliest days. The comedians trace part of their success to a Texas Outlaw Comics television series recorded at KPRC in the 1980s, a project that helped introduce the group to a wider audience.

Since then, members of the Outlaws have appeared on HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, NBC, BET, Amazon Prime, SiriusXM, and major comedy festivals across the country. Their collective resume includes stand-up specials, television appearances, podcasting, screenwriting, directing, voice acting, and an Emmy Award-winning writing career.

While each comedian has built an individual following, the group continues to perform together, united by decades of friendship and a shared Texas comedy heritage.

During their appearance of Houston Life the Outlaws also revealed a major milestone for the group. They announced plans to film their first movie in Houston this October, marking a new chapter in the collective’s long-running career.
