HOUSTON – Where can thousands of Houstonians gather to check out some of the best pieces of rolling art in the city?
At this weekend’s 39th annual Houston Art Car Parade of course! There will be over 250 art cars on display, and the event is FREE.
From lowriders to fire-breathing sculptures and Houston slabs - it’s all about reinvention and joy.
Plus, this year’s grand marshals are Grammy award-winning artist - Kam Franklin and soccer legend and recent Houston Sports Hall of Fame inductee - Brain Ching who will help kick off the celebration and guide the procession through downtown Houston

Thu (Apr 10): Main Street Drag (mini-parades to schools/hospitals) + Art Car Sneak Peek at Discovery Green (6-9:30pm, free)
Fri: Art Car Ball (6-11pm) at Hermann Square at City Hall (900 Bagby)
Sat (Apr 11): Lineup Party 11am (close-up viewing) + Kids Creative Zone + Parade 2pm (FREE); lasts ~2 hours; streets reopen ~6pm
Sun (April 12): Awards 11am at Orange Show HQ
This year introduces a new location for the Legendary Art Car Ball at Hermann Square, creating a seamless connection into parade day as the space transitions into the VIPit viewing experience.
