HOUSTON – Pop culture meets pickles!
Rain or shine, the In a Pickle Festival returns this weekend, and this year it’s bringing a new twist: anime-inspired foods. Founder Krystal Wertman is combining her two passions—pickles and anime fandom—to create a one-of-a-kind experience for visitors in Rosenberg.
The festival is packed with flavor and fun: Asian street food, ramen, cosplay, pet parades, and, of course, pickle-eating contests. On Sunday, attendees will also enjoy traditional lion dances that add even more excitement to the celebration.
