You might be asking, “What is a bubble braid?” It’s a unique method to create a braided look without braiding your hair.
- Slick your hair and pull it into a low, tight ponytail.
- Use elastic bands to create sections.
- As Giles mentions in the video above, blow out the hair.
- Then add a festive bow clip—which you can get from Amazon or local beauty stores—over the elastic.
Sleek Updo
For anyone who loves elegant or ballerina buns, try this updo with a bow.
- Pull hair into a high ponytail.
- Use a curling iron to create a wave at the end of the ponytail.
- Use Texas Hold ‘Em hairspray to lock style in place.
- Add an elastic band at the end of the ponytail, then roll up the hair to create a sophisticated bun—similar to a chignon.
- Then secure with hairpins.
