Houston woman teams up with Jimmy Fallon to try to win $25k on NBC’s ‘Password’

Houston – 25-year-old Saigim Garcia thought it was a scam when the folks with NBC’s ‘Password’ reached out to her about being on the show. She forgot that she applied nearly a year before. Now, her episode airs this week!

The doctorate occupational therapy student at Texas Woman’s University went to Los Angeles for the reboot of the 1960s game show now in its second season on NBC.

In “Password”, two contestants, each teamed up with a celebrity partner try to guess the password based on clues offered by his or her partner. Each password is worth $1,000 with the grand prize being $25,000.

Garcia was paired up with Jimmy Fallon and they competed against Laverne Cox and her partner, a teacher from New Jersey.

On the show, Garcia was newly engaged to her fiancé Clay. She hoped to win money to go to Australia for her honeymoon. She mentioned to Jimmy that she sent a Save The Date to her wedding to Adam Sandler. Jimmy tried his best Adam Sandler’s impression in hopes of Sandler accepting the invitation. Garcia tells us on Houston Life that she gets married in September, and Sandler responded to her request with a signed postcard! We’re still hoping he makes it to the wedding.
