The Broadway show ‘The Thanksgiving Play’ comes to Houston

Houston – “The Thanksgiving Play” has made its way to Houston’s 4th Wall Theatre Company!

The production hits the stage with wit and charm, earning its place among the top ten most-produced plays in the nation this season with an impressive eight productions.

Playwright and choreographer, Larissa FastHorse, is the first Native American woman to produce a Broadway play. She blends satire with U.S. history in this hilarious and timely performance.

Join elementary school teacher Logan as she assembles a group of four well-meaning white creatives to write and produce a Thanksgiving play that is both historically accurate and culturally sensitive. However, their efforts are continuously foiled by their lack of understanding of Native American culture and history.

Catch “The Thanksgiving Play” through March 24. There will be an open-captioning show followed by an actor talkback on March 17 and a pay-what-you-will show on March 18 where you determine the price of your ticket. It ensures shows are accessible to all.
