🍀 Meet the sassy nun on a mission to reclaim St. Patrick’s Day on stage 🍀

HOUSTON – “Sister’s Irish Catechism: Saints, Snakes, and Green Milkshakes” is a hilarious, interactive one-woman show at the Stages Theatre about a nun campaigning to be the grand marshal for an upcoming Saint Patrick’s Day parade.

Played by actress and co-writer Denise Fennell-Pasqualone, she channels her Irish charm and cheeky green humor to create a night full of laughter and experience like no other.

You will never know what will happen next. The Sister breaks the fourth wall and pulls the audience into her mission, making each show unpredictable. The audience, who become her students, help the Sister through fun and energetic activities. So, if you are looking to brush up your improv skills, this is the show you don’t want to miss.

The show was supposed to end on March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day), but Houston has more chances to see it. Due to popular demand, Stages Houston extended the show with four additional days. Click here to get your ticket now before they’re sold out.

The most fascinating part is not what happened on stage. What started as a premise for a stage play became a reality. The audience continued the act and submitted performance videos to the Houston St. Patrick’s Parade Commission in hopes of nominating Fennell-Pasqualone as the grand marshal for the Houston St. Patrick’s parade. The committee was impressed by the submission, and Fennell-Pasqualone, as the Sister, was named the official Grand Marshal of the 63rd Annual Houston St. Patrick’s Parade happening March 16. Plus, Stages patrons are invited to march in the parade with the Sister, and more than 400 have signed up.
