HMNS’ ‘Endless Love’ Valentine’s Day hissing cockroach promotion is back!

HOUSTON – If you’re looking for the perfect way to, ahem, *honor* an ex -- or even get revenge on one -- how about giving them the ultimate symbol of love…a hissing cockroach!

The Houston Museum of Natural Science is back with their fun Valentine’s Day promotion: ‘Endless Love,’ is offering guests the chance to name a cockroach after their ex.

It’s brilliant, right?

Museum guests can honor a loved one (or get revenge on an ex, we won’t tell) by naming a roach after them -- because nothing makes a heart beat faster than a roach!

Your roach lives at the Heartbreak Motel located inside the Museum Store, and costs $10 which includes a certificate and an Endless Love enamel pin.

Proceeds support conservation of the Cockrell Butterfly Center, and it’s happening through Valentine’s Day.

Watch as Lauren Kelly faces one of her fears by getting up close and personal with the creepy crawlies along with Lauren Davidson, Director of the HMNS Cockrell Butterfly Center.
