Celebrate aspiring filmmakers at Pearland’s first annual ShortFlix Film Festival

HOUSTON – Calling all filmmakers!

This Saturday, The Pearl Theater is hosting its first-ever ShortFlix Film Festival, where aspiring filmmakers of all ages will showcase their films to the community. They even have a category for young filmmakers who are 18 and younger.

It is the first annual short film festival in collaboration with the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau, Scriptwriters Houston, and other nonprofit arts groups in the greater Houston area. Guests will see screenings of short films from around the world, participate in the director and industry expert Q&A sessions, and network with other filmmakers. Plus, as an audience member, you can vote for your favorite.

The festival is open to filmmakers, fans, enthusiasts, and everyone. It’s an opportunity for industry professionals and families alike to have a great time walking the red carpet and celebrating the arts with an all-access badge that costs ten dollars. Click here to get your badge.
