First female and Black-owned mobile bar with unique cocktail drinks and Jell-O shots

Houston – It’s mobile, unique, and the first female Black-owned mobile bar in Houston. Brittany Eckwood is the owner of the mobile bar Baby J’s Jell-O.

She started her business with her father in 2018, and today the father-daughter duo is sharing three of her concocted recipes great for Valentine’s Day.

But first, some tips - Have fun while making the drinks. Have all your supplies ready before making the drinks. Do Not Add carbonated beverages to the shakers!

Spice Wood Recipe (Malentines Drink)

Add to shaker -

Ice

2 Dashes of Bitters

1/2 oz of simple syrup

1/2 oz of lemon juice

2 oz of bourbon

A couple of shaven pieces of fresh ginger

Shake

Strain and Pour over ice in a Rocks Glass with 1 block ice

Top off with Club Soda

Garnish with Ginger and Strawberry

Very Sexy Recipe (Galentine’s Drink)

Add to shaker -

Ice

3-4 Raspberries

1/2 oz of simple syrup

1 1/2 oz of Vanilla Vodka

3 oz of Pineapple Juice

Shake

Strain and pour into Martini Glass

Garnish with Pineapple and Raspberries

Red Sprinkles on rim of glass

Kiss Me (Girls Drink)

Add to shaker -

Ice

3 Raspberries

5 Mint Leaves

1/2 oz of simple syrup

1 1/2 oz of Citrus Vodka

1/2 oz of Lime Juice

Shake

Strain and pour into Martini Glass

Float with Rosé

Pink Sprinkles on Rim

Garnish Mint and Raspberries

And of course - can’t forget the Jell-O shots.
