Check out the new ‘Nature Connects’ exhibit at Houston Botanic Garden made out of LEGOS

The Houston Botanic Garden is a beautiful 132-acre plant museum with hiking trails, water features, and a family discovery center…it’s truly a hidden gem on the southeast part of town.

This weekend they are celebrating their second birthday with a family festival, and the opening of a fantastic new exhibit made entirely from Legos!

Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects Made with LEGO Bricks uses whimsical works of art made from Legos to explore the balance of ecosystems and mankind’s relationship with nature.

The award-winning exhibition opens to the public this Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Susan Garver Family Discovery Garden at the Houston Botanic Garden, and runs from Sept. 24 through Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023.

Watch as Lauren Kelly chats with Claudia Gee Vassar (President & General Counsel of the Garden) about this weekend’s big birthday celebration.
