Houston singer-songwriter Marley Moon mixes retro rock and fun melodies

Her band will be performing tomorrow at White Oak Music Hall

HOUSTON – She’s been making modern love songs with a retro feel, creating a unique indie dream-pop sound that’s making her one of the most interesting local talents to watch!

Her name is Marley Moon, and she joined Houston Life a chance to get to know her and her music.

Moon, whose real name is Madison Campbell, started performing in Boston, MA while studying at Berklee College of Music.

She continued to make music after moving back home to Houston in 2018.

Her debut EP, “Do you feel free?” was released in April and was recorded with Grammy-winning Houston producer Steve Christensen.

She is currently recording her first full-length record and will be performing at White Oak Music Hall’s Fifth Anniversary Party, Saturday, Aug. 21.

The event is free with RSVP. For more information, click here.
