Funds support critical research for cancer patients

MD Anderson's annual Boot Walk to end cancer

HOUSTON – For over 75 years, MD Anderson has been committed to eliminating cancer in Texas, the nation and the world.

“We just hope to find the kinds of drugs that are going to make a difference for people, that right now we don’t have the right treatments for,” said Dr. Wendy Woodward, a professor of radiology oncology at MD Anderson.

MD Anderson's Boot Walk to end cancer is set to take place on Saturday, November 10 through the Texas Medical Center.

The walk is a fundraising event for MD Anderson. One hundred percent of funds raised will support the mission of MD Anderson and its groundbreaking research.
