KPRC 2 meteorologist Caroline Brown and her husband, Jack, are expecting their second child in early August.
The couple shared that their son, JJ, will soon become a big brother. The two boys will be about 18 months apart in age, something that holds special meaning for Brown.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled,” Brown said. “I’m the youngest of four, and my parents had all of us close in age. We grew up as best friends, and that has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.”
Brown shared that her sister Maddie is 18 months older than her, and another sister, Ashley, is just 20 months older than Maddie.
“JJ and his little brother will also be about 18 months apart, and it makes my heart so happy knowing he’ll have that same built-in best friend,” she said.
The family is still deciding on a name and is welcoming suggestions for baby boy names.
