The upcoming calendar year is jam-packed with concerts by emerging artists, beloved bands, pop sensations and living legends. Mark your calendars music junkies, here are 24 of the biggest artists bringing their tours to the Houston area in 2024.

January

Lyle Lovett

  • When: Jan. 22 and 23
  • Where: The Grand 1894 Opera House

Lyle Lovett, an accomplished singer, composer, and actor, has contributed to the evolution of American music over the course of his 14-album career. Demonstrating a distinctive storytelling ability, the Texas-based artist incorporates elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel, and blues in a genre-defying manner.

February

The Eagles

  • When: Feb. 16
  • Where: The Toyota Center

The Toyota Center will host The Eagles, featuring special guest Steely Dan, on Feb. 16th. Recognized for their Grammy Award-winning tracks, including “New Kid In Town” and “Hotel California,” The Eagles have become one of the most creatively and commercially successful bands of all time. Their upcoming tour, The Long Goodbye Tour, will be their final tour.

Olivia Rodrigo

  • When: Feb. 27
  • Where: The Toyota Center

The multi-platinum, three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Olivia Rodrigo is poised to embark on her eagerly awaited GUTS World Tour in promotion of her second studio album, “GUTS,” released in September 2023. “GUTS” is the successor to Olivia Rodrigo’s 4x Platinum full-length debut, SOUR, released in 2021. Noteworthy tracks from “GUTS” include the hits “vampire,” “get him back!,” and “bad idea, right?”

March

Madonna

  • When: March 28 and 29
  • Where: The Toyota Center

The Madonna performances at Toyota Center originally slated on Sept. 13 and 14 were rescheduled and will now take place on March 28 and 29. Madonna’s The Celebration Tour highlights her catalog of music from the past 40 plus years.

Busta Rhymes

  • When: March 28
  • Where: 713 Music Hall

Recognized for his memorable and dynamic live shows, Busta Rhymes, a 12-time Grammy Award nominee, is set to embark on an extensive North American headline tour this year.

April

Rolling Stones

  • When: Apr. 28
  • Where: NRG Stadium

Following the release of their latest album, “Hackney Diamonds,” the Rolling Stones will embark on a concert tour to showcase their new music. The Stones will commence their 2024 Hackney Diamonds tour at NRG Stadium in Houston in April.

Bad Bunny

  • When: April 30 and May 1
  • Where: The Toyota Center

This year, the internationally acclaimed recording artist Bad Bunny is set to embark on a 47-show tour dubbed the Most Wanted Tour. Promising fans an “unparalleled spectacle,”, Live Nation said the Most Wanted tour will offer attendees “a more intimate experience than his previous tour and give life to his latest studio production with the legendary and high-energy stage presence he’s known for.”

May

Hozier

  • When: May 2
  • Where: The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

Through the spring and summer, Irish singer/songwriter Hozier will continue touring in support of his third studio album, “Unreal Earth.” Canadian singer-songwriter and musician Allison Russell will provide support.

Nicki Minaj

  • When: May 9
  • Where: The Toyota Center

This year, Nicki Minaj will embark on a global tour titled Nicki Minaj Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

Luis Miguel

  • When: May 15 and 16
  • Where: The Toyota Center

Following robust ticket sales for the 65 dates of the Luis Miguel Tour 2023, Latin superstar Luis Miguel will prolong his tour into the year 2024. Fans can expect Miguel to perform songs from his vast catalog, including timeless hits such as “La incondicional,” “Ahora te puedes marchar,” and “Hasta que me olvides.”

Melanie Martinez

  • When: May 23
  • Where: The Toyota Center

The Trilogy Tour will showcase the evolution of Martinez’s alter ego “Cry Baby,” with hits from all three of her albums: “Cry Baby,” “K-12,” and “Portals.”

Two Door Cinema Club

  • When: May 29
  • Where: White Oak Music Hall

The Northern Ireland trio will embark on a 22-date tour across North America beginning in February.

June

Noah Kahan

  • When: June 13
  • Where: The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

In the wake of his sold-out Stick Season Tour runs in both 2022 and 2023, Noah Kahan will undertake a 32-date North American tour throughout the spring and summer of 2024.

Alanis Morissette

  • When: June 16
  • Where: The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

Seven-time Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette’s The Triple Moon Tour will encompass 31 shows across North America. Building upon the success of her record-breaking global tour in 2021-2022, commemorating the 25th anniversary of “Jagged Little Pill,” this upcoming tour will feature Rock and Roll Hall of Fame icon, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, as the special guest, accompanied by support from Morgan Wade.

Styx and Foreigner

  • When: June 22
  • Where: The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

The classic rock bands will team up this summer for the Renegades and Juke Box Heroes Tour. Fans can expect to enjoy feel-good anthems such as “Come Sail Away,” “Feels Like The First Time,” “Renegade,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Mr. Roboto,” and “I Want To Know What Love Is.”

July

Sarah McLachlan

  • When: July 6
  • Where: Smart Financial Centre Sugar Land

The Canadian singer, songwriter, and musician will be joined by special guest Feist.

Tate McRae

  • When: July 19
  • Where: 713 Music Hall

In April, Tate will embark on her first global tour. Spanning 53-dates throughout Europe, UK, North America, Australia, and New Zealand, the Think Later Tour follows the release of Tate’s sophomore album, released on Dec. 8.

Zach Bryan

  • When: July 27
  • Where: NRG Stadium

Following the recent release of his eponymous album, Zach Bryan will embark on a North American tour dubbed The Quittin Time Tour. For his Houston show, Zach Bryan will be joined by Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, along with Levi Turner.

August

Luke Combs

  • When: Aug. 9 and 10
  • Where: NRG Stadium

Country music star Luke Combs will conclude his Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour through North America in Houston in August.

Def Leppard and Journey

  • When: Aug. 14
  • Where: Minute Maid Park

Def Leppard and Journey are co-headlining a stadium tour through North America this summer. For their Houston show, the bands will be joined by the Steve Miller Band.

Chris Stapleton

  • When: Aug. 24
  • Where: Minute Maid Park

Country music star Chris Stapleton will continue his extensive All-American Road Show tour through summer 2024. Stapleton released his latest album, “Higher,” in November.

Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago

  • When: Aug. 24
  • Where: The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago, widely acknowledged as two of the most successful and critically acclaimed bands in history, will co-headline a tour throughout North America – the Heart & Soul 2024 Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will unite the enduring musical legacies of Chicago and the iconic repertoire of Earth, Wind & Fire for a singularly memorable evening of music. Featuring impressive sets from each artist, the culmination of the event will be marked by an encore performance with both bands sharing the stage.

Thirty Seconds to Mars

  • When: Aug. 29
  • Where: The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

This year, Thirty Seconds to Mars will embark on the Seasons 2024 World Tour, encompassing a comprehensive itinerary across Latin America, Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand. It will be the band’s first headline tour in more than five years.

September

Creed

  • When: Sept. 14
  • Where: The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion

The multi-platinum, Grammy and American Music Award-winning rock band will bring its Summer of ‘99 Tour, it’s first North American tour in over a decade, to The Woodlands in September. Special guests 3 Doors Down and Finger Eleven will provide support.
