KPRC 2 Pet Project: Meet Stella, an American Eskimo pup looking for her igloo to call home

1 1/2 year old Stella loves the cold weather, but her heart is warm enough to warm yours.

The American Eskimo dog, according to volunteers at the Houston Humane Society, is a majestic ball of floof!

She is described as a sweet and sassy gal that can lighten up any mood with her goofy demeanor. Her coat is also super soft.

Stella’s ideal family is a family with kids. She also loves to travel to cold destinations where she can blend in with the scenery.

Meet Stella at the Houston Humane Society, located at 14700 Almeda Rd. in southwest Houston, open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. If you’re interested in welcoming Stella into your home, you can jump-start the adoption process by filling out this form.

KPRC 2 Pet Project Follow-up: Ruth

Last week, we met Ruth, a pup with a philosophy on life’s luxuries.

After her KPRC 2 Pet Project segment aired last Sunday, Ruth had a long line of potential adopters waiting for her outside HHS!

However, Ruth’s adopter had a certain “Je ne sais quoi” or “I don’t know what” in French, that she knew that was calling her home.
