HOUSTON – This summer, Budweiser is extending its patriotic summer packaging lineup to include state bottles and cans.
Eleven states will see their namesake on Budweiser bottles and cans as part of the bran's latest evolution of its iconic summer packaging. It will be specific to Texas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Virginia.

Since 1876, Budweiser has been brewing across the nation and the new packaging pays tribute to the states that Budweiser calls home.
“Our new state bottles and cans celebrate the homes of our breweries and the communities that support them,” said Ricardo Marques, vice president, Budweiser. “Since 1876, Budweiser has been proudly brewed across America, and this summer, we’re inviting local consumers to raise a cold one with us.”
The new packaging will be on store shelves from July to September 2017. The new packing features custom copy changes inspired by each local backdrop. Those changes include “Budweiser” on cans and bottles being replaced with each state name. The center medallion “AB” monogram updated with state initials. “King of Beers” swapped to include each individual state motto. “Anheuser-Busch Inc.” replaced with each state nickname.
To add to the celebration, Budweiser is also opening its doors for special “Open Houses” at all 12 of its breweries to the neighboring communities throughout the summer. These events will feature local food, music, entertainment and even appearances by the famed Budweiser Clydesdales.
