Summoning them is as easy as installing the Pageboy app on your iPhone.
Once installed, you choose a service, date and time, book the appointment and pay for it within the app. Then professional stylists show up to work their magic.You can choose from inspirational looks on the app or tell the stylist exactly what look you want.
Houstonians and Pageboy co-founders Libby Cagle and Lauren Taft created the app two years ago. They serve all kinds of clients from busy moms to the whole family getting ready for pictures and wedding parties.
"One mom who used the service told me, 'You know, I was sitting at home at 5 o'clock, trying to go out on a date with my husband. I was helping my kids with homework, you know, feeding the baby. All while having a Pageboy pro do your hair in the background. They were in and out in 45 minutes," Taft told Davis.
A blow-out is $70 and that includes the tip. So you never have to worry about having cash on you.
If you don't have an iPhone, Beglammed is a similar app for Android with comparable prices.
In a little more than a half an hour, the Pageboy stylists had Davis styling!
