Texans Care Volunteer Day set for May 6

HOUSTON – The annual Texans Care Volunteer Day is set for May 6.

A citywide initiative spearheaded by the Houston Texans, the day of service aims to help people make a positive change in the Bayou City.

More than 2,000 people have already registered to volunteer at seven sites throughout the community.

Locations where volunteers will be working include: Houston Food Bank, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston, YMCA Camp Cinco, BakerRipley, SEARCH’s Tiny House of Treasurers, Houston Habitat for Humanity and Catholic Charities.

Volunteers are still needed for the projects at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston, YMCA Camp Cinco and BakerRipley.
