FORT BEND COUNTY – Eyewitnesses helped deputies arrest two burglary suspects.
Christopher Mayfield, 22, and Floyd Wilson, 24, are facing two counts of burglary of a habitation.

Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies said the arrests cleared two residential burglary cases in the Cinco Ranch area. Detectives said the duo may be connected to as many as eight cases in Harris County.
On Jan. 29, deputies said they responded to a 911 call in the 2700 block of Zachary Bend Lane in the Woodhaven section of Cinco Ranch. When they arrived, a neighbor of the home that had been burglarized said she saw a black SUV with one person in it and saw another person get into the vehicle and leave.
Earlier, a resident in the 3900 block of Diamondale Court saw a suspicious black SUV and took a photo of it with her phone, deputies said.
A deputy arrived a few minutes later in response to an alarm and the neighbor showed the deputy the photo. Deputies on patrol said they found a SUV matching the description of the one they were looking for in the parking lot of a retail store on Westheimer Parkway.
Mayfield and Floyd were arrested at the scene, deputies said.
Witnesses identified the vehicle as the one they saw at the burglary sites and one witness identified one of the suspects in the case, investigators said.
Fort Bend County detectives searched the home of one of the suspects and found stolen property that helped clear eight Harris County Sheriff's Office cases.
Additional charges against the suspects are expected regarding the eight other cases.
Both men were booked into the Fort Bend County Jail under $10,000 bonds for each Fort Bend County burglary. Mayfield posted bail, but Wilson remains in the jail.
