HOUSTON – Police are working to find clues to who shot a man in Northwest Harris County.
Investigators say it happened right in front of the Commerce Park Apartments off of Ella and Barren.
Several people witnessed the shooting, but didn't want their faces on TV.
"I had my kids in the car, protect my kids so I slammed on the brakes. I saw the guy holding the gun, I immediately started thinking in my head, ok back up or sit still, just don't get to close." said a parent.
Detectives said the victim was alone, walking down the street when all of the sudden he was attacked by two people.
"There is no known motive for the shooting at the time" said Greg Pinkins with the Harris County Sheriffs Office.
Some witness did try to help, but it was already too late.
