HPD: Man stabs nephew to death

HOUSTON – Houston Police are searching for a man who is suspected of stabbing his nephew to death in northwest Houston.

According to investigators, the stabbing happened at the Concord Apartments on Wirt Road and Kilburn at around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

"They had an argument in the parking lot," said Sgt. Robert Blaine. "One was stabbed multiple times."

Family members told investigators that at the peak of the argument, a 19-year-old's uncle pulled out a sharp object and stabbed him repeatedly.

Detectives said the uncle ran and left his nephew bleeding on the ground. The nephew was rushed to a hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

Detectives said they are still following up on leads at locate the suspect. His name and a description of him have not been released.
