HOUSTON – “Today” host and weatherman Al Roker will be the guest ring announcer for WrestleMania’s mixed tag team match between John Cena and Nikki Bella and The Miz and Maryse, Cena, a guest "Today" show host, announced Monday.
"I know you've got a busy week ahead of you, and I know your finish line to the week on Sunday is WrestleMania because WrestleMania is happening in the Citrus Bowl and...do you want to be in the ring as a special ring announcer?" Cena asked.
"Yes!" Roker replied.
Assistants handed Roker a WWE belt. "I need WWE suspenders," Roker joked. "I'm so excited, John. It's almost a letdown doing the weather."
