So the next fair question: What about rain today?

  • We’ll watch for the for rain south of I-10 for some areas, but definitely not all, this afternoon from 1-4.
  • Not ruling out a chance for a few isolated cells to north ... but overall, nothing like what we had on Saturday.

Monday’s rain chances also look on the lower end- meaning isolated for a select few, but not all. The majority as of right now looks to be dry with a high in the lower 80s.

Some areas have already picked up more than 3 inches of rain over the past three days—with even higher amounts in spots. That means our soil may be saturated, raising the risk for flooding because the ground simply can’t absorb any more water.

This is why we remain under a flood watch until 7 pm on Monday.
