Today’s forecast is all about the sunshine and above-average high as we hit the 80s, again.

The warm, humid wind will also push temperatures up ahead of the next chance of rain. Streamer showers will start to move in on Wednesday morning and the first of two cold fronts will move through on Thursday.

Rain is headed back to Houston this week, as a high-pressure system is moving out of the area, opening the door for rain and thunderstorms as we get into the week.

The Pattern:

The Euro has the front move through Houston, overnight into early morning Sunday while the American model has it around mid-morning into the afternoon.

While things will change the closer, we get — even the models — we’ll keep updating you as we get closer. We’ll also be able to nail down the intensity better as we get closer to the date.
