Freeze Warning:
A freeze warning was just issued for counties north of Houston. Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28° expected. The frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and sensitive vegetation, so cover up those plants or bring them inside.
From Spring Break to Winter Coats: That’s the reality again for Houston. Even if you’re not in the freeze warning area, make sure to bundle up the kids at the bus stop.
Once we get past our freeze warning for areas up to the north and our cold morning lows, our forecast is LUCKY, we’ll be in the 60s.
Thankfully, Tuesday won’t be as windy, as the past few days. We’re tracking winds of 5-10 mph. Our last front brought very windy conditions with some areas hitting the 40 to 60-mph peak wind mark!
Your Extended Forecast:
A gradual warm-up back to the 80s before we hit the 90s this weekend!
