I don’t know the exact calorie count on that delicious pie, but according to Verywell Fit, 12,000 steps at the Rodeo burns roughly 432 calories.
And per page 20 of Bowlegged H Magazine, the Rodeo is the perfect place to rack up your 10,000 steps—especially with today’s gorgeous weather
We’re tracking that front moving in—it’ll have you grabbing your jacket this week. Our highs drop by 30 degrees Sunday into Monday.
Our morning lows drop into the upper 30s, with spots north of us possibly a tick colder. But thanks to windy conditions, especially on Monday it will feel even colder, thanks to the our “feels-like” temps. Our wind gusts up to 30 mph by Wednesday and the cold front will turn the start of our work week into a March winter-like chill.
But before we get to the colder temperatures, we have to track the chance for rain and thunderstorms headed our way Sunday. Expect a chance for rain and thunderstorms Sunday afternoon into evening: slight risk (2 out of 5) for our NE counties, and 1 out of 5 for the rest of SE Texas.
Timing for the chance for rain, gusty conditions and even the risk for hail:
5:00 pm: Tracking a line of rain from Columbus, The Woodlands to Livington.
6:00 PM: We’ll track a line of showers from El Campo to The Woodlands
7:00 PM: Pushing off to the coast leaving behind gusty conditions and a drop in temperatures.
I’ll send you another alert to your phone on Sunday with details on the front, storms and our temperature drop. But for today, it’s all about enjoying the warmer and sunnier weather ahead of the storm.
